Television Broadcasts Limited (“TVB”) is building momentum on the development of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in Hong Kong. The TVB ESG Awards 2024 (“the Awards”) is to acknowledge those organisations that perform to a high standard in ESG practices, as well as create a transparent platform for organisations to showcase its contribution in ESG against peer.

On December 12, 2024, the Police Officers' Club at 28 Hong Hing Road, Causeway Bay, hosted the prestigious 2023-2024 "Best Security Services Awards and Best Partner Ceremony" for the Hong Kong Island Region. The event was attended by esteemed guests, including the Hong Kong Island Regional Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police Kwok Ka-chuen, Kenneth, Chairman of the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority Yip Chun-nam, B.B.S., M.H., and the President of the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies Limited, Dr. Cheng Kam-wah, Edmond. 

This award ceremony aims to honor the outstanding contributions of security personnel over the past year in assisting the police to combat crime. With over a thousand security professionals competing. Andrew Yan, serving at the residential estate Kornhill in Hong Kong's East Island, managed by MTR Corporation, was awarded the runner-up position among the "Top Ten Security Personnel". His quick thinking and calm demeanor, combined with close cooperation with the security team, led to the successful apprehension of a suspect involved in a burglary and show his professional.

The 2024 Chinese Tennis Association (CTA) Tour will be held in Hong Kong for eight consecutive days from 11 to 17 November 2024 at the Victoria Park Tennis Courts, with more than 150 top tennis players from all over the country gathered in Hong Kong to start a series of exciting battles. City Security Company Ltd is the security contractor for the event, responsible for security screening and crowd control to ensure the smooth running of the event.

New Territories South Best Security Personnel Awards result has been announced. Over 400 security personnel who came from commercial, industrial or residential security sector were being selected by the panel committee and received the award. This year, we have eight security guards with good performance who have won relevant awards.

City Security Company Limited won the“Best Public Car Park Management Award”in the "Kowloon West Region Best Security Services Awards 2023" three straight years which organized by the Kowloon West Regional Crime Prevention Office for its comprehensive property and car park management of  iSQUARE. City Security once again recognized by the industry for its remarkable services and maintain the best quality of security services.

A four-day exhibition, which will be held from 19 to 22 October at the soccer pitches of Victoria Park, will feature a number of retired and in-service buses (including the newly-introduced new energy buses) as well as various kinds of bus service-related memorabilia that marked the development of franchised buses in Hong Kong since 1949. Members of the public are welcome to visit and take photos.

The“Kowloon East Best Security Services Awards Presentation Ceremony 2023-2024" organized by Hong Kong Police Force Regional Crime Kowloon East at Police Sports & Recreation Club. City Security Company Ltd and City Professional Management Ltd achieved excellent results for several awards. They are selected from around 5000 high-standard securities, it shows their well-trained performance under security regulations and the achievement of eliminating criminal cases in the properties.

ESG Pledge Scheme is organized by The Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong and co-operated with Hong Kong Brand Development Council. The scheme is aim at strengthening the concern of sustainable development. It encourages the business and public sectors to sign the pledge and implement the action plans to improve the ESG (Environmental, social and governance) performance, thus building a sustainable environment in future.
